A fascinating program for those who love to enjoy life On the Water!

On the Water's presenterThe “On the Water” program series is all about sailing, paddling, and power boating—how to have fun and/or make a living on the waters off Vancouver Island. Each program is approximately 6 minutes long and at present we have completed 12 episodes. Our partnership retains all rights to this production.

• the Silva Bay Shipyard School on Gabriola Island where traditional wooden boat building skills are still taught,
the competitive and social sport of Dragon Boat Racing put on by the GO Rowing and Paddling Organization of Vancouver Island,
jem going up the mast the Canadian Open Sand Sculpturing Competition held in beautiful Parksville,
the incredible Silly Boat Races of Nanaimo sponsored by the Child Development Society,
the Nanaimo Bathtub Races,
kayaking to the Winchelsea Islands off Schooner’s Cove with Kevin Floyd of Alberni Outpost,
the Sea Cadets sailing the coast aboard HMCS Oriole,
off-shore yacht cruising around the Gulf Islands,
making the rounds at night with the Harbour Watch of Nanaimo to keep boats and marinas safe,
and more!
